Our History
Imagine Finance was founded by Tony Sutton back in 2004. Since then, we’ve been providing financial solutions to help thousands of clients achieve their economic goals. Weathering the financial crisis of 2008 and other challenges within the industry, Imagine Finance has been a stalwart for our customers through thick and thin.
Who we are
A veteran of the financial sector, Tony has been personally trading since the 1980s. He knows the business inside out, and his experience is unparalleled within the industry.
Tony has hand-picked a highly-experienced team to offer the best possible customer service here at Imagine Finance. All of our customer-facing staff have extensive industry experience, expertise, qualifications and life experiences that make us ideally positioned to advise on all types of finance.

Tony Sutton
My first finance company was established in 1989 and grew to become one of the UK’s largest finance providers. In 2004, I started Imagine Finance, which has become one of the country’s most respected finance companies.
My qualifications are with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) for mortgages and the Finance Industry Standards Association (FISA) Foundation Examination for second charge loans. However, my view is exams are no substitute for experience, which is why all my staff have considerable financial services expertise.
I enjoy cooking for my family, DIY, fishing, and football in my spare time.
Kirsty Reilly
Since then, I have taken on various roles, including a second charge underwriter, credit operations team leader, customer services manager, asset manager and new business manager. This experience has enabled me to understand the many different aspects of the financial industry.
I am now responsible for the team arranging homeowner loans, residential mortgages, and bridging loans on a customer’s home.
I have passed my Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) exam and the Finance Industry Standards Association (FISA) Foundation Examination for second charge loans.
Outside of work, I like to spend with my daughter Sophia, walking my dog Max and socialising.
Jo Lock
I joined Imagine Finance in 2016 in their commercial mortgage department and now head the team responsible for all commercial mortgage applications.
I have qualifications from the Institute of Financial Services, Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice, Certificate in Financial Administration and Planning, Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and Chartered Insurance Institute.
Outside of finance, I am a member of a local MS charity and spend time fundraising to help those in the community with MS.
Hayley Stockwell
I head up the buy-to-let team, where I am responsible for first charge loans on buy-to-let properties for individuals and limited companies. I am also the company’s first aider, as I am qualified as an IHCD Emergency Medical Technician.
In my spare time, I have my hands full with my twins and enjoy winding down with a glass of wine.
Kylie Lardi
I have been with Imagine Finance since September 2016, where I am responsible for marketing their specialist lending products through various channels.
I spend my spare time standing on a football pitch watching my two sons play (a lot of) football.
Simon Flaxman
In 2005, I joined Tony at Imagine Finance. Today, I am responsible for every aspect of IT and systems within Imagine Finance, including building and maintaining their computer systems, writing websites, organising mailshots, and designing in-house software. I have passed the Finance Industry Standards Association (FISA) Foundation Examination for second charge loans.
Outside of work, I am the chairman of my local social club, play the trombone in a wind orchestra and regularly sing in a church choir.
